The Life Simulator
The Life Simulator — Game Description
I built this because everyone complains that BitLife charges money for the good features. I wanted to make something better and keep it completely free. No paywalls, no premium mechanics, no ads. Just a deep, real life simulator.
What You Get:
This is a text-driven life sim that models the full arc of a human life—from birth through childhood, school, career, military service, relationships, everything. The world moves forward whether you do or not. Real people run for office. Wars happen. Markets shift. And your choices matter because they're permanent.
How It Works:
Start with nothing and build a life. Get educated or skip it. Join the military and work your way up the ranks, or stay civilian. Make money, invest in stocks, buy a house, get married, have kids. It all connects. Your health affects what jobs you can take. Your military record affects your future income. Your relationships affect your opportunities. Nothing exists in a bubble.
The Hard Part:
Every choice has real consequences. Enlist in the Army and you might get promoted fast—or you might get injured in combat and your military career is over. Spend years studying? Great education, but you missed years of earning. Invest badly in the stock market? That money's gone. Go into debt? You're paying it back. There's no rewind button. You live with what you chose.
Military Deep-Dive:
If you enlist, there's a full progression system. Choose your branch (Army, Navy, Air Force) and specialty. Work through the ranks. Go to military schools. Get deployed. Face combat scenarios where your tactical decisions can end your tour early or earn you medals. Get wounded? That stays with you. Injuries affect your health, your career options, everything.
